I used these 3 inch wheels on a 6x3 foot workbench designed for heavy use in aircraft hangars. The first thing I noticed was that the axle holes are not exactly concentric. on the outside of the wheel so it rolls in an odd way (slightly but not smoothly). Tolerances in the ball bearing ring and cage are not exact. With locked wheels, the workbench is not rigid. In addition to the relatively low price, these wheels are of very poor quality. If you turn the wheel by hand, you can see them wobbling in all places. Noise and pump resistance can be heard when rolling on smooth ground. When I took out the middle screw and looked at the metal tube bearing, I saw a weld inside. The bearing is not even smooth! If each wheel is rated at 300 pounds and you have 4, the total load capacity is theoretically 1200 pounds. The loading capacity is reduced.
