Actually does what it says on the tin. As mentioned before, check your motherboard/graphics card specs before purchasing. You CANNOT adapt a DVI-D connector to a VGA (D-Sub) monitor input. For clarity, use your internets to look up the specs if you don't have the documentation that came with your graphics card. Seriously, just google it.
