Excellent quality - my new review

These are the real thing - sturdy leather, lacings and a top-notch period look. The only thing is that the soles are a little slippery.

Pros
  • Used these for a play production, order arrived before the expected date, and they fit just right
Cons
  • Not worth 50 bucks or whatever, maybe 5. Might as well have been socks

Good value for the quality

Nice shoes, great for ren faire costume. Not to the level of the really nice $200+ leather boots, but great for the price.

Pros
  • The fit was standard, shoes were comfortable, and delivery was on time. I have no complaints so far.
Cons
  • Lack of arch support, leading to foot pain and discomfort

Great boots for the price

I needed a good pair of boots that wouldn't break the bank and that's where these come in. I wore these for 8 hours a day two days in a row in the rain and mud and they held up beautifully! Not once did my feet get even the least bit wet and my feet didn't hurt at all. Although I highly suggest ripping out the insoles these come with and putting in Dr. Scholl's inserts instead.

  • Not bad, great to wear at the Renaissance Festival.

  • Not durable enough to withstand consistent wear and tear over time

Very comfortable, accurate fit, and decent quality! I haven't worn these for longer than 2-3 hours but they were exceptionally comfortable and looked great! 11/10

Great for a Renaissance Faire or Reenactment!

These boots were a great choice for a Renaissance Faire costume that should serve me for years to come! They are made of faux leather, with rubber soles and a thin, non-removable insole. This footwear looks very good as part of a medieval or Renaissance costume, while being comfortable and rugged enough to withstand long hours walking on uneven terrain with small debris. My only suggestions are to be aware that these shoes provide little to nothing in the way of ankle support- they do not have…
