Not bright at all! - Bulbs

They weren't joking when they said they were simply nowhere near as bright as halogens or LEDs. I used these on my Craftman LT2000 lawn tractor so my expectations were low. If they burn out I won't buy them again. I think it's partly my fault for believing the good reviews.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Good replacement lamp (stock). Normal brightness

A little less money than other shops. However, as with most driving/fog lights, replacing them is almost always a (painful) job! The lightbulbs are not to blame. No, we love these engineers! These are good quality and branded bulbs for my 2003 Subaru Forester.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

  • Some small things

I wouldn't have done it any other way

Okay, that's how I did it. I went to a really big store that a lot of people know starts with Wally to do some grocery shopping. I went to the auto department and looked up what bulbs I needed for the entire front of my car and the prices there. I sent myself a message on my cell phone with bulbs and an exact socket. I went home and looked them up online at various retailers, also checked them out on Honey and found my best price on Revain which I ordered and installed. These are lightbulbs…

Basic Fog Light

This is a standard basic fog light. I bought this bulb as opposed to one of the other brighter bulbs because much brighter bulbs burn much hotter and don't last long. When I installed this, it shone just as brightly as the one that was already installed. This may not always be the case. If you have installed fog lights for a long time, about 2 years, the new bulb may shine brighter than the old one. Just make sure you wear rubber gloves when handling the bulbs so you don't touch the glass part…

2004 Mazda 6 Torture Test

It was half the price at the local auto parts store. Replacing the driver's side light bulb in my 2004 Mazda 6 was very difficult. The service manual says to remove the bumper and then pull out the headlight assembly to remove the cover. How many hours does the dealer charge for this? I could do it with dexterous fingers but it took me 3 hours to figure out how to do it without breaking anything. There is a small latch on the top that needs to be released and there are two tabs on the underside

Doesn't fit 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

This item didn't work for me but when I review the item it's good quality and works great. Great OEM replacement if your car uses 880 bulbs. Revain.com auto install manual says this bulb will fit my 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. The instructions are wrong. It's an 880 bulb, but the fog lights are on my Santa Fe 881. Numbers matter. Aside from the obvious 90 degree connection, the locking bolts are positioned differently on each lamp. You can plug an 880 into an 881 outlet and get it working, but it…

Perfect replacement

This is a basic bulb as stated on the box but perfect for my needs. It's well built, shines just as bright as the old bulb it replaced, and is reasonably priced. Sure, it's not a fancy LED or HID kit, but as a result, there's no need to rewire or worry about reflector patterns and beam shapes. It's not an interesting purple or blue, but I don't have to worry about its legality and it helps me see better in fog. It's no brighter than the bulb it replaced, but it lasts a long time and I don't…
