They weren't joking when they said they were simply nowhere near as bright as halogens or LEDs. I used these on my Craftman LT2000 lawn tractor so my expectations were low. If they burn out I won't buy them again. I think it's partly my fault for believing the good reviews.

This is a standard basic fog light. I bought this bulb as opposed to one of the other brighter bulbs because much brighter bulbs burn much hotter and don't last long. When I installed this, it shone just as brightly as the one that was already installed. This may not always be the case. If you have installed fog lights for a long time, about 2 years, the new bulb may shine brighter than the old one. It was half the price at the local auto parts store. Replacing the driver's side light bulb in my 2004 Mazda 6 was very difficult. The service manual says to remove the bumper and then pull out the headlight assembly to remove the cover. How many hours does the dealer charge for this?
