These lamps have small bumps that diffuse the light somewhat and hide the small intense white spot that sometimes appears in this light. The lamps are bright, the colors are right, if a bit pastel. A good choice for a simple haircut. (The wire is quite strong, so this light string has some weight.)

I've been hanging Christmas lights on my Norfolk pine tree for many years. I bought these to replace an old thread. They seemed very heavy! So heavy that I didn't use them in my factory for fear of injury. However, for me the lightbulb design is cool and a bit dated, which I like! Instead, I used them as decoration elsewhere.

Yes, I still have a Christmas tree in mid-March. We like to look at the lights and use them as a night light. The bottom half of the tree is still there. The top half is gone. There is only one chain of lights. It looks like a ghetto AF! I've had other lanterns that lasted over a decade (I just couldn't pay for them until proper Christmas). Pass this.

Nice and bright but the wiring between the plug and the first bulb is too short, 4 inches if you're lucky. What happened to 12-16 inches between the plug and the first bulb? I have no idea how stupid it was to cut it out. It's so difficult to get the filament out of the socket where I want it without it being in another lit object. The main disadvantage of this. You have to buy an external cable for a lousy few inches that never had to be removed.

Too many cables! Too many cables between the lamps. Christmas tree. The lights are close together and with three thick green wires between each light, making it difficult to hide and adding weight. My external LED lights have two thin wires going in and out of each light, they are bright, have a green wire and are 105 feet long. I would weigh less than this short heavy kit. I recommend buyers to look for a different set of jigs.

Good bright lights IF it's worked for a month. Bought four sets for our four small outdoor potted plants. Put them on timers after Thanksgiving, worked fine until New Year's when one set stopped working properly (slight dimming or half string didn't work) and by New Year's Day three sets didn't work. Seriously, all 3 in one day? Checked each bulb and replaced the supplied fuses (not easy to do, lousy, vague instructions) and still NOTHING. So three out of four sets in the trash. Lasted one…

I ordered 10 of these lights in the Black Friday Sale and they arrived on December 1st. On the same day my husband installed 7 garlands of lamps. In two chains, half of the lightbulbs didn't work in less than 3 weeks. My husband is an electrical engineer so he knows how to find a blown lightbulb. There was none. The strings are just wrong.
