I'm not the type to write bad reviews but I wouldn't want a friend to waste time on this product. It doesn't show the station, it's a scroll on the side, like a little old transistor radio. It won't stay in place and you'll need a steady hand to get it in place without static electricity. Please spend a little more and buy a better radio. Sylvania may make the best products, but this is definitely not one of them. I am sorry.

I originally bought a ghetto blaster for CD and Bluetooth. After a little over a year of use, I can't switch from standby to on. Bluetooth pairing works, but there is a noticeable "click" between audio pauses. For example, the songs end and there is a pause and an audible "click" begins and the next song fades out. It's really awful when I listen to audio books when the reader pauses and I skip the next few words.

This was the best of the small group of basic CD players I looked at. Gift for an elderly person - I needed some knobs, large knobs and the only function was a CD player. It also had a radio function, but the radio button wasn't a function button on the device, which is what I wanted. The player started skipping a few months after purchase, so the quality isn't the best, but the price is pretty low. It just had the best buttons for an older person.
