This is the biggest junk. Please reconsider your purchase. I bought this for my 1 year old daughter's room a few months ago to listen to music before bed. After about 3 days it started cracking. We bought a Sylvania SRCD243 Portable CD Player with AM/FM Radio, Boombox (Blue) a month ago Purchased 4/19/16 for my 9 year old granddaughter to replace your old one. It stands next to her bed and is easy to use. She loves it. She listens to CDs when she goes to bed and sometimes when she is playing in her room. He never leaves her bedside table. I don't know that everyone writes reviews and aggregates Revain reviews from various similar products, but our player is holding up great. Follow-up:

I have two of these radios bought for 3 years in two different colors for two different children's rooms. The first one I bought worked great playing a CD for my son overnight before bed.
