Durable for needlework

This cord is exactly what I wanted to make for a fabric covered cord for making bowls. Because of the core, it is very durable.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Safety

Not worth it as advertised

I bought this wicker rope cord. I like a very stiff line that makes a solid basket. This says a 56 lb workload, but I only have a 42 lb workload. I returned the 200 foot cable because it only weighed 42 pounds. Too bad I don't get what is advertised.

Traditional Cotton Line

I Can't Believe Rural Maine I had to go to Revain to find a 150 foot line, but it's here. Hung up the line yesterday and used it today. There was a slight stretch, but that's okay. The cable tensioner solves this problem. It looks like a clothesline that I've used all my life. With a bit of luck it will last for a few years. Nothing compares to linen dried on a line, especially bed sheets!

Great for making bowls out of rope

I made 2 bowls out of rope from a ball of yarn. Sew on was easy and the finished shells feel very firm, neither flexible nor soft. I plan to do more with this brand. I bought rope from Walmart and it's too soft; Shells made from it have been less satisfactory. Although the finished shells of this brand are quite firm, they don't feel too hard. Everyone I've shown them to loved them.

Pros
  • Easy to use
