Can't complain about the price as I'm only interested in the features. Seems to be working as I can now touch the factory heat shield.

Love the color and the material holds heat very well. The temperature of the engine compartment is reduced by a ton! Just not meant to be toggled on and off.

works well, I cut a hole in it for my bypass valve, the temp under the hood has really dropped. turbo was 700 degrees now shows 180 degrees on the ceiling. worth buying

The temperature under the hood has dropped sharply. Egm fell almost 200°. I haven't put it on a dyno or anything, but I swear my acceleration has absolutely improved. It's only been a few weeks, but it's holding up strong. Will definitely buy another one when the time comes.

Reduces the inlet temperature into the engine compartment. In my opinion they are all the same. You put them on (usually lavash for me) and leave them on as long as possible because once you take them off you have to replace them. I spent $100 on a turbo blanket and $30 on a turbo blanket. If you ask me, they both do exactly the same thing as the other.

I had this blanket on my gtx3582r for about 3 months. It holds heat very well and fits perfectly in my T4 case. but recently it came loose at the seam on the side of the exhaust pipe. It had never been removed and I took it off to inspect the turbine and noticed that it had burned through and the internal material was exposed. Good for a cheap comforter but don't expect it to last long.

Purchased in March 2019 for my Mazda RX7 Single Turbo FD PT67 and after a dyno/tuning in June-May 2020 this thing was fried on the inside. I've only driven the car a few times a year and the thing fell apart internally. Pretty disappointing but when it worked it looked fine and seemed to drop the temperature by 120 degrees. The problem is that for this price it just didn't hold up, although I'd have a spare if you did a series with this one.
