Arrived early. It's a very large package and also very light and strong. I gave it a five star rating but I have two things I want to mention. The zips are good but not great and the way the top compartment is placed on the pack can allow water to seep underneath in a downpour so get a rain cover. Other than that, it's excellent value for money.

This packaging is beautiful; well built; extremely stretchable and compressible. In fact, it compresses to a size suitable for carry-on luggage on international flights. It is very durable yet lightweight. Even after heavy rain, it stayed dry inside. The salesman at the outdoor gear store saw this and couldn't believe the price. You could spend hundreds more and get a lot less. This modular backpack even has an easy-to-remove, heavy-duty shoulder strap. Glad I stumbled across this one!

This bag goes with everything! I can put essentials, clothes, a 2 person tent, a hammock and any small items I need in the side, top and front pockets. My high school student uses this backpack for all the books, binders, notebooks and anything school wants. They don't have lockers. Not sure what I think of this bag yet. I packed it with clothes and boots and threw up a 35-pound kettlebell to add weight (about 62 pounds total). Because there is no real frame, the top has buckled and slipped out of the top cap, but has regained shape. Water resistance not tested yet. Honestly. Spacious and VERY durable. I've used it quite a bit over the past few months, some hikes have been 5 hours long and it's been comfortable. It rained for about two hours on one ride and my gear was still dry without the rain gear in place. After the last ride one of the cables broke (see picture). You get what you pay for. The material used is similar to other super cheap tactical bags. It is comfortable. The straps have loads of CHEAP padding, making them easy to carry. They are not waterproof and not stable. Water absorbs directly. Zippers make or break a bag, and those zippers feel finicky and downright cheap. Bought this to have a backpack for a lightweight, minimalist travel kit. Perfect for what I want. However, I must point out a few details. The hip belt is not very well padded. It doesn't bother me because I wear this backpack with a big kilt, so I have a lot of wool around my waist for padding.
