I really liked the collar! Velcro backing could be dispensed with as this makes the attachment process more cumbersome.

Nice solid collar. Very reliable and the "grab handle" is great for handling a large dog. Get lots of compliments. Velcro for included/other morale patches are a nice touch. I just wish the collar was a bit wider.

I had to return it because of the hair-tight velcro that runs the length of the collar. If you don't have a massive shader, this isn't a problem. The collar seems very robust and otherwise a good choice.

Finally a collar that stays in place even though my doggy day care providers can never put it back on my German shepherd properly after a visit to the pool. It's very durable and I love the handle as my friend can get excited when he sees another dog on our walks.

I bought this to have a grip on the service dog collar. I love the velcro on the collar but ended up cutting off the extra strap (which was difficult due to the high quality of this collar) because my other dog used the velcro to walk his sister. The Velcro loop holding the strap was the only cheap part of the collar. It didn't hold up well and caused the 6 inch extra strap to come loose for my other dog to pull on. I do not regret the purchase. After I made the changes, it works beautifully.

I love this stylish collar. We have a pit mix and an American bully and I love the look of the thicker collar. It's also a pleasure to grab the handle when they try to steal food from the counter or attack diners to lick them to death. We first found this collar when we had a foster dog that literally ripped every collar she put on when tied up. We really like this collar. Size, handle, velcro for patches - all fine. BUT the double military bolts do not remain locked. Our pup (55 lb. Dutch Shepherd/Pit Terrier mix) all it needs is a good head shake or a scratch on the collar and he will fall off. I wanted to say that others who mentioned this just didn't know how to use the locking mechanism. I was wrong. If the company moves to a more secure clasp, I would happily try this collar again. Something is wrong with the clasp on this collar. We use about 2 weeks, 3 times the dog fell. It certainly doesn't inspire confidence that it'll stay on when you need it, like when they're dragging another dog or person (for better or for worse). My 75 pound lab stuff that everyone loves to death says hello and with this collar I don't feel in control of it.
