3.5 stars because the fur falls off a little and the head is very hard, like foam inside, which keeps the shape of the face. I got the 24" model after the 19" because it's very small. They are compared in the photo.

I haven't had a stuffed big cat in years. And it's a great choice. A soft body to squeeze and a sweet face to boot. This comes in handy when I need a quiet companion during thunderstorms or horror films. I also think that I will be happy to pass this on to my children that I will have one day. Excellent work! ^_^

So darn cute! Bought as a gift to a friend. My cat thought it was true! The face is very realistic. The head has some firmness, especially around the mouth, which helps to keep the shape. The fur is soft (but not like soft mallow) and pleasant to the touch. The legs are also a little hard, but that doesn't bother me at all. My friend will be very happy!

So. Realistic measurements. It's about 16 inches from toe to toe when flat. Height is about 12 inches from nose to butt. As others have said, the face is hard. So disappointed with this toy. My son is a Black Panther freak, he doesn't particularly have a bedtime crush, and I wanted to surprise him with his own Black Panther. Dear lioness, don't get me wrong. That alone saved me the one star I originally intended to give. Here's why it didn't get five stars: Flaws come first. I gave my 93 year old father a baby lioness for Christmas. He is deaf and blind and had to give his cats to my sister when he went to his first foster home. I bought both a lion and a tiger, 24 inch. I highly recommend this size if you want a more realistic scarecrow. They look like real bear cubs! Approximately 24 inches each from nose to tip of tail.
