The product was received as in the description. The small kettle heats up quickly. You can tell when the water/kettle is boiling by the sound of the water/kettle. The quality/construction is excellent for the price and the kettle is made in Japan.

A little small, but ideal for 4-6 cups of coffee. Hot water goes exactly where you want it. Also looks great on the board. Pour handle and top handle made of nice hard Bakelite, heat resistant. The handle appears to be firmly welded to the body, with no visible seams or markings inside. I don't know how to clean the surface nicely, I have to look. "Directions" is entirely in Japanese and sketchy, but it's a kettle, so it's pretty obvious. Overall I am very happy with the kettle.

I like this Gooseneck Teapot. It is absolutely beautiful and the price is very reasonable. It's just the right size and the water gets hot very quickly. Other reviews mention that the lid isn't tight, but I actually prefer it that way because I don't want to struggle with the lid to put it on or take it off - just keep your finger on the lid's handle while pouring. Edit: I've been using it almost daily since March 2020 and it's still working great. This is the perfect coffee maker. Cooks quickly, handle stays cool, pours easily. I use it every day for my coffee and it's great.
