My kids found this an acceptable thermos, although I've never liked cleaning plastic straws. However, with the lid closed, it ran into the backpack and damaged several library books. Instead, I buy Zojirushi for her.

I bought them for a trip for children aged 7 and 5. They really like her and so do I. The handle makes it unique in the sense that it can be carried with you, on a walk, etc. Leakproof, easy to clean thanks to the wide opening of the thermos and the ice in the drinks stays all day. You like to ride scooters with your thumb on the strap.

I love Takeya, but this color looks greener in the picture than it really is. This is a very pastel Easter green. It's ok, just not what I wanted. I used it once for freshly squeezed juice, washed it out which requires tiny baby bottle brushes to get into the mouthpiece and straw, then gave it to a friend. They said they can still feel a whiff of juice when they drink water.
