I'm an amateur photographer on a budget. This is the most expensive lens I have and by far my favorite! The picture quality I can get with it is way better than anything I have!

The lens is very sharp, light, compact and inexpensive. It might not be the sharpest, lightest or smallest, but I imagine it could be the best of all Sony 24mm E-mounts.

Very good build quality compared to the price range. I'm not happy with the video auto focus on my a7iii. This lens has a very slow autofocus speed and a lot of judder. I like minimum focusing distance.

Lens distortion is present, but not that bad. Images are sharp. The build quality is kind of a very high quality plastic that feels light but also durable when it comes to falls. Just need to take some photos in the backyard, can't wait to get out and use it.

This is a dependable lens. The autofocus is fast and accurate. Very happy with it so far. The free bonuses that come with the package are also very valuable. Bought for use with landscapes as long as the pictures come out great, very sharp and with great colors. The build quality is normal, the plastic is good, the autofocus is fast but it makes a little noise, I don't recommend it for video. This is a sharp lens for portraits, landscapes and architecture! Bright and wide! Thread for filter 67mm. A lightweight. weather sealing. macro distance. These are the positive aspects. Now let's talk about the cons. Auto focus does not work in low light. Hunt a lot with autofocus. Noisy when autofocusing (not a big deal if you're using an external microphone). Many chromatic aberrations. (Can be corrected in post). But for the price it's worth it. I will keep mine until I can afford GM lenses.
