Unsuitable for sewing

As you can see from the photo, this is a very bad stamp. Not flat at all, screwing a flat wooden buckle onto the back. I think for some reason they were made that way, but I can't figure out why.

Pros
  • Gives a comfortable feeling
Cons
  • Little things

A little weak on the buckles

I am not very satisfied with either the design or the finish of this buckle. The material is lightweight and the design is such that the stress on the belt loop will pull any adhesive behind the buckle. If you're looking to attach the buckle to a rock or something, I'd look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Empty belt buckle for sewing supplies and supplies

I had a small sink that I wanted to use as a belt buckle. It's only 2.25 x 2.25 and is the smallest blank I could find for a 1.5 inch belt. It's just too wide and some of the empty space is visible. I'll live with it. The hinge was not attached to the workpiece so I had to use a piece of cork on the back to hold it in place. I hope it lasts when I wear it.

Pros
  • Sewing supplies and supplies
Cons
  • When in doubt

worked great on an old cupro-nickel rodeo buckle

I didn't have the materials or skills to solder or solder a new strap retainer to an old cupro-nickel rodeo buckle. I saw and ordered this product. I dug up the old belt hole pin and the remains of the belt clip with a dremel. I filled the tandy with epoxy, clamped it and left it overnight. Voila. Better fixed than new.

Pros
  • clasps
Cons
  • was damaged
