This leather tool is a letdown. It's supposed to be perfect for Arts and Crafts, but it only made me frustrated. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I could tell the quality was subpar. The pro is that the handle was comfortable to hold. The con is that the oblong shape was difficult to work with and didn't deliver desired results. Save your money and get a more reliable tool.

I've been using mine on belts, bags and holsters for almost 20 years now. I hit the leather scraps so as not to damage the edge. I sharpen it with 400 grit about once or twice a year.

All Tandy items are overpriced and of subpar quality. If you visit Tandy frequently and disagree, I encourage you to learn more about the materials. It's my own fault for wasting thousands there for lack of resources, knowing full well that this is an almost dubious Robert. Unfortunately, what can you do?
