This tool is not worth the hassle. It's difficult to use and doesn't produce quality stitching. The only pro is that it's cheap. The cons are endless. It's not sturdy, the threads get tangled easily, and it's hard to thread. As someone who loves Arts and Crafts, I would never recommend this tool to anyone.

The tips are not sharp and too thick. The metal used is of very poor quality and too soft to be used in tools. This will dull blunt tips even more with very little use. Scrap, like any other leather product.

This chisel is very disappointing. The teeth of the chisel didn't even form a straight line! The first and fourth teeth were correctly aligned, but the second and third teeth were beveled to the left. This rendered the tool virtually useless. Why do I need a chisel that gives me a shaky line? This is another crappy product from Tandy Leather. In the future I will use instruments from Joseph Dixon or Japanese brands.
