I used this product to repair a leather sofa that was torn along the edges. I wish they had used that on the original. Very strong thread, much better than the original.

If you are accustomed to the thick 4 oz Blue Mountain leather sewing thread that Tandy traditionally carries, please note that this is NOT the product. There is nothing wrong with this material, but it is quite thin and there is almost no noticeable wax on it. These are small rolls - about 1 inch in diameter and 3 inches long.

I used this to sew a few pieces of faux leather which I punched through to sew the fabric together. It's waxed and pretty easy to use. I used short pieces of wire to pull the thread through the holes, which worked better than sewing needles. the repair was on the brackets of garden furniture, so time will tell how long the thread will last.
