Tandy Leather Deluxe Granite Tooling Slab 6x6x1.1875 inch (152x152x30 mm) 32226-00 Review

This is a smooth, well cut, solid granite slab. I just wish the other side was polished because it's gotten nicer, but it's neither here nor there.

Arrived disassembled in a box with other items I ordered chipped at the corners and has a tear line on the top. You shouldn't send it back, I'll try to save it with liquid putty in the corners and bottom. I will not buy again

Pros - it certainly boosted my instrumental playing Con - the price you pay here is higher than Tandy on their website and the same for Weaver . The price for 6x6 on the sides is about $15. That's $30 more. Also, the goods on these pages are still cheaper than this product for a 12x12 board

I used it a few times for setting rivets. He did an excellent job of rolling a smooth, flat surface. I used it on a concrete slab in my garden. I didn't use it for a few months, then I needed it for another project. More rivets. I didn't even hit them that hard and they cracked/split in half. I used the broken half and kept going because I still had to install the rivets and it broke even more. If you use this I suggest putting a perfectly clean surface underneath and maybe a towel between it…
