I thought it would make it easier to cut out the curves of the leather. Never cut well. Broke after only 2 uses. Rivet is a piece of junk. It could have worked better but one side of the rivet was polished with scissors so it just broke in two. It would have been better if they had driven a rivet into the dome on either side of the scissors. Save yourself the headache and look for heavy-duty box and carpet shears or injury shears.

I loved these little scissors for my projects but they just broke. This is only the third mission. I cut thicker material but this looks more like a manufacturing issue. They are durable and of decent quality. However, they are not very useful to me. I bought these to cut heavier leather and they don't go over 4 ounces. While the short blade length is handy for some things, this combined with the blade's thickness makes it difficult to do precise work. I'm a woman with average hands, but the grips seem a bit small and rather uncomfortable. When I need to use scissors, I use my Fiskars Titanium, which is not only more convenient to use but also cuts better…
