Such a good product for the money. Great value and quality. We hung it directly from our house and then connected to wooden posts we put in our lawn, it covered our patio and was the perfect sun blocker, but still let enough light it so it felt light/airy and not dark. It lasts! No sun fading or rips. We did take one corner down when it rained so it didn’t hold the weight of the water.

This item was only quasi waterproof for maybe 3-4 weeks before it started to let rain directly in through the fabric weave from raindrops hitting its the whole thing is notWaterproof. And, of course I’m after my return window so nothing I can do now but buy another oneElsewhere. It was a great dealAnd if you don’t mind all your stuff getting wet, this may be the one for you otherwise run. run like you are on fire away from this item and find one that is nicer and probably a tad more expensive.

Immediately upon opening the box I can see that this product is not what was advertised. I specifically wanted something waterproof, as the ad description said. But the description in the package says it allows water through the material. Fail.

This took forever to arrive. It was impossible to install. But it also is not a porous material so the water builds up if it rains. Which causes it to pool and stain and damage the fabric by the eye rings.

I wanted this so as to make a covered, dry outdoor area for me to sit when it's raining. Bought this because it said it was waterproof - it isn't even the slightest bit waterproof. Ever the optimist, I hung it up and once I stretched it I could clearly see all of the holes permeating it. Sure enough - the first rain came and the water went right through it.So now I'm back to the drawing board, trying to find a way to make a dry area on my patio :(

it was installed and everything will be fine in time as it behaves with the sun and the rainIt was placed with inclination in some points so that the rainwater runs better and does not stagnate

Even though we slatted the tarp for the rain to run off, it collected water in the middle and bent the 4 1and1/2 " pole at the corners. We could not have got the corners tighter. I wish I could have gotten picture but I had to cut the corners to prevent more water being collected in the pouring rain. Needed more gourmets on the sides. I took it down and replaced with shade cloth. I really wanted the area to stay dry but shaded area will work.

This was an awesome shade at the beginning but now that we've had it for two months it's super droopy in the middle. We even take it off daily so it never outside in rain but still became droopy.

This is a solid product that is truly waterproof and sheds water. This leads to a dilemma however in that installation is critical. If there is any chance that water will collect it will and will stretch the fabric requiring adjustment. If you do not have room in the installion to create significant runoff then look for a shade that allows some permeability.

Love the quality and style of this waterproof sunshade! Water runs off nicely and creates a cooler area to get out of direct sun. Made well with rings on four corners with durable stitching. Form meets great function with a cool "sky and clouds" design ! Thanks !

They do not hold up to sun and the material starts to break down from the sun I'm addition to fading. And It says they have a 3 year warranty. How do I get them replaced under the warranty?

This is my second sunshade and am very, very disappointed. It is sewn defectively and it bellows in the middle and does not stay taught no matter how tight you make it on the corners, when it rains, the water sits in a pit. I've tried tying rope underneath it for support, but did not help at all. I've written to the seller and am waiting for a reply. Hopefully the'll send a replacement.
