Easy shades - my new review

I used this to make my own roll up shades for my porch. 12'6" in length was what I needed. 2 pieces pvc pipe, some poly cord and eye hooks and zip ties is all it took. Sure cheaper than buying a couple manufactured shades. Quality looks good and so far very durable.

Pros
  • Good stuff...used to screen around pool area for privacy.
Cons
  • Not compatible for use with certain types of plants

Looks like a random scrap from the factory floor.

I'm trying to remember why I even bought this. It's basically just a scrap -- not sewn over on the edges, just loose material with some uneven cuts. My guess is they simply cut sections out of larger sail shades that failed QC and then are selling them as discrete finished goods to reduce their own waste supply. At least the material is of decent condition and the scrap is mostly rectangular.

Pros
  • Innovative heat set construction is not easy to tear and fray.
Cons
  • Could potentially cause discomfort for people with sensory issues

Amazing product at a great value

This is an amazing product. It’s great for privacy/ sun shading and worth the price. I Unfortunately had to return mine due to my condos HOA president knocking on my door and saying if it wasn’t taken down I would be fined $1000.00 because it’s not white. Unfortunately the company does not have a pure white sunshade so I had to return the one that I bought. However I highly Recommend this company due to the product and value of the screen. My HOA President is now my mortal enemy and she has…

Pros
  • Shade Cloth
Cons
  • Can be expensive to purchase and maintain

Great Wind/Sun Shade

Used an 8x22 to cover the sides of a pergola for plant protection over the winter months. Difficult to install without assistance. Works splendidly.

Pros
  • Love it, very easy to work with. Made curtains to block sun on patio.
Cons
  • Difficult to install without assistance

Great cover, good price and quality

Great cover, put it on the pergola roof over my balcony, and now we can use the space in hot sunny weather. That's my review!

Pros
  • What we needed
Cons
  • Might be a tripping hazard if not securely installed

Great Fabric in my review

Made large roller solar shades for our screened porch. Very easy to work with and they look great and work as we hoped! Requires additional effort to remove during winter months.

Pros
  • great shade protection against the hot Texas sun
Cons
  • Requires additional effort to remove during winter months

Amazing product especially for the price

I have an A-frame home where the sun is intense from about 2:00 to 4:00. The A-frame windows (2) are a real problem and would be expensive to have shades made for them. So, my helper made a frame (triangles each with a right angle). I then cut the fabric and used a hot glue gun to attach the fabric. The result is superb.

Pros
  • Versatility at its finest
Cons
  • Not suitable for all types of events, like outdoor ceremonies

Beautiful and Sturdy Fabric!

We needed more shade under our custom awning so I made two custom 14x16 sunshades with velcro fasteners from this fabric (sewn by hand with strong outdoor thread from Joann's Frabrics) The velcro from Joann's Fabric holds the weight of the sunshade perfectly.

Pros
  • Sun shade
Cons
  • Measurements were not correct

Horrible color, not beige

It says beige but it is more of a yellow. I used it to replace the top of my swing and it just looks awful. I should have returned it when I had the chance. The material itself is fine.

Pros
  • We have installed this above a breezeway with lattice on top to shade area near pool. It does the job.
Cons
  • The size might not be suitable for all purposes

looks great - my new review

I had to use three pieces to cover a 13X16 gazebo. It cut fairly easily and looks great. I hope it's durable. I'd hate to have to do this every year. So far, so good.

Pros
  • very happy.perfect for my needs
Cons
  • Requires constant monitoring to ensure it stays in place

Great Product - my new review

I did not realize that when web stated fabric was 6x50 - the 6 was indeed doubled. So to make it usable for me I cut the material in half - still worked out though.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May attract unwanted visitors like birds or rodents

Very durable, and great price!

I've had this for over a year and have left this out on my canopy, it holds up very well! Great price and very durable! Sorry it took me long to write review

Pros
  • Blocks most of the UV on a hot day. Easy to install as a patio cover. Great deal.
Cons
  • I needed all 25ft. There was a run in the material and the last 3gt were bunched up on the roll

Works great! on my review.

This material looks amazing on our backyard swing. Works to keep shade on it and the gray color matches exactly! I used wire ties to attach it to the frame of the swing and it worked perfectly!

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The shade cloth may discolor or fade unevenly over time
