There is a lot of friction between the yellow part and the metal axis. The metal axle has come loose from the part it is pressed into (probably from extra friction). I will never buy them again and will only buy official iRobot videos.

good, I'm cheap. My 980 needed extractors and tried 4 kits from different brands before trying this one. They produced the same errors as others, now I am convinced that the manufacturer's brand is the only way out. I tried them because of the high ratings. Maybe the 980 is too picky about extractors, I don't know. I know I don't have the patience to reset extractor errors because I'm cheap.

I've had my Roomba for over a year now and have replaced the original casters a few times. Then I bought this one. The gray roller heated up, causing enough friction to smoke and melt both one side of the roller and the bracket holding the rollers. It was so damaged I had to replace this unit for $70 from iRobot and another $30 for new original rollers. Fortunately, the reel seat could be replaced. I will never touch non-original parts of my vacuum robot again.
