Tapered Nylon Jaw Pliers PLR 828 00 Review

The nylon on these pliers is too soft. They are easy to spoil. Not suitable for winding or straightening wires as they will resist and become damaged.

good size, removes kinks from wire but be aware it works, strengthens the wire, use too much and the wire can become brittle and break

These pliers work well enough for jewelry transfer and wire straightening. They've lasted as long as the craft brands I've bought before. Like the craft store brands, the nylon didn't last very long and the replacement attachments are a bit overpriced in my opinion. For the price this is a good pair. Pliers, but consider the cost of replacing tips when purchasing.

The supplier sent another pair of pliers. not the nylon ones. Somehow someone stuck a "nylon pliers" sticker on the original metal pliers manufacturer's label. I didn't send the metal ones back because I needed them. But. I would not order these nylons again as they must be misidentified as mine.

When I saw them I thought "What a great idea!" - Pliers that don't mark metal. What I didn't expect was that I couldn't grab anything. For example, it is very difficult to close the o-ring because the nylon allows the pliers to slip everywhere. And the more I try, the more nylon is consumed (markups appear on it). If there is a trick to using them, someone please share!

I LOVE Eurotool for all jewelry tools. This one left me wanting. The first time I put a fairly soft copper archwire through it, not only did the nylon jaws break on one side, but a small piece came loose on one side. I still give it 3 stars because it's holding up well and I hope the defect was in the nylon that can be replaced.
