Waterproof & UV Resistant

Only 0.002 inch thick but quite strong. I used it to protect the paint on a metal deck that I had to repaint due to the weather. and copper - both. Concerned about durability but I haven't abused it and it worked for my purpose. Much cheaper than what I was looking at (carbon fiber strap). The long term is unknown but I have high hopes.

Pros
  • UV Resistant, Flame Retardant
Cons
  • Not Sure

I love this copper band!

I am an artist and love to use copper in many of my creations. For a while I used material I found at hardware stores, but now I'm having a harder time finding copper tape. So I bought this brand in 2 sizes and they are absolutely perfect for my needs. The adhesive is strong even after copper patination. This allows me to rinse it off with water and the paper will peel off so I can glue it to my project. It breaks easily, but that doesn't bother me!

Pros
  • Moisture, chemical and corrosion resistance
Cons
  • boring packaging

Bought this tape to repair a Lenovo T410 Thinkpad heatsink assembly. It originally had (I think) aluminum tape, but thought I'd give it some love as I rebuilt it and wanted my fan to cool the maximum amount of heat. I've bought WAYYY more than I really need but I'm sure this stuff has decent durability and I'm rummaging through my leftover tape from my first rebuild on my laptop to a second identical rebuild on a second identical Laptop. I think I even did a better job, albeit perhaps a little…

Pros
  • Thermal protection, thermal insulation, EMI shielding
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
