They won't charge cell phones

Well I figured I could hook it up to a power bank and I have four working ports leading off of it. Nothing obviously worked, it needs power supplied by the computer through the USB port and then you get enough power to power USB devices that can be plugged into the PC. I was trying to charge multiple devices in my hotel room while on vacation. The device provided neither electricity nor mobile phones. This can be good advice for USB devices plugged into PC but not charging your cellphone. Iโ€ฆ

Gameboy Zero USB Hub

Purchased to support Gameboy Zero build. I tried other much cheaper alternatives from eBay but these devices couldn't support multiple devices interacting with the Raspberry Pi. It was with great concern that I spent $13 on the Targus device. It works perfectly. In a build I use it to connect an Arduino based gamepad, USB audio and an external USB port. The second build uses two gamepads and USB audio. So despite the high cost, it works great.

  • Fingers crossed

Works great with computers and accessories

I just don't understand why computer manufacturers only put a USB port on computers lately. Almost anything related to music can be connected to a computer via USB. and other things like flashlights can be charged through the USB port. I have 3 USB devices permanently plugged in. I appreciate not having to worry about changing items since I only have one USB port on my computer.
