The best paper for origami Paper

I have been folding for over 40 years and this is one of the best papers I have ever used. I fold simple models into super complex ones and this paper has worked well. Taros will continue to be my paper source.

Great paper but color is peeling

This product is advertised correctly, I was looking for white side origami paper and it works great, one issue I had was working on a long model and my hands became stained before I washed them.

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons

Origami paper that folds easily and doesn't tear when folded

I tried to buy origami paper at origamishop.us but with shipping this set was too expensive. I love that Prime allows me to get it to my door on time. I've just started with origami, so I'm not an expert on paper quality. However, this paper folds very easily and does not tear. So far I like this origami paper.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Older model

Many Colors - Paper and Paper Crafts

This pack of paper has many colors and is perfect for my purpose. I use it to cut kirigami patterns for window decorations. This is a size that fits well with most popular kirigami (snowflake) pattern books. It has a slight chemical smell, not too strong and after use, hands don't smell like chemicals. It takes some time to smooth out the wrinkles (several days) so maybe don't press too hard when using this for kirigami.

Pros
  • TAROS ORIGAMI STUDIO paper is designed and tested by our staff based on countless hours of learning and folding. Made in Japan, this authentic paper uses the highest quality non-toxic ink and is machine cut for maximum precision. This is simply the highest quality standard origami paper available.
Cons
  • Little things

This paper is of high quality. I use it to fold paper airplanes with the book ORIGAMI PLANES by Michael Lafosse. Easy to fold and durable. Reference. I also like that it has two colors per sheet. i.e. one-sided. This makes it easier for me as an origami beginner. I will buy again if necessary. Thank you Tarot Origami Studio for quality paper.

Pros
  • THIS IS THE MOST POPULAR ORIGAMI PAPER. Papers weighing approx. 60 g/m2, colored on one side and with a smooth folding surface make this paper thin but durable and wrinkle-resistant. The best paper for origami beginners. This type of paper colored on one side is called "KAMI" in Japanese and is the true standard for origami binders around the world.
Cons
  • thin

Fragile, soft paper makes the final product disappointing.

I bought this paper as part of a project of folding cranes that I wanted to give away. The paper is of cheap quality, creases easily and consists of matte primary colors. I ended up feeling embarrassed about gifting an ugly craft and decided to return the paper and start over with a higher quality material. I'm used to folding high-quality double-sided paper with rich colors and complex prints. This material matches the quality of color inkjet paper sold in volume. You can do much better…
