🐾 Taste of the Wild Cat Canned Rocky Mountain - 3 Ounce Can - Case of 24 Review

Arrived well packaged. I ordered 4 of these, the cat loves them and cheaper than going to the local pet shop although I like to groom locally. You can't go wrong with Taste of the Wild.

I have been feeding my cat and dog Taste of the Wild dry and canned for many years. This is the cheapest of the really highly rated brands; they thrive. It costs about the same as at the pet store and eliminates the need to lug it home - I always buy it from Revain now too.

Before I review this, let me say this is a wonderful brand with quality ingredients. However, my cat didn't like the consistency of the food and usually licks up the sauce first and then only eats it if I leave it out when I'm out during the day (and he needs to eat it) or if I mix it with some kibble he used to eat has eaten. He prefers pie dishes and also dislikes wet flake food. Keep this in mind if your cat is similar.

My cats liked this food at first but lost interest after I ordered a box of this food and gave it to them every day. It looks like cubes of some unknown highly processed substance coated in a type of slime they call gravy. Of course, this doesn't look like the advertised real natural food. This may be a new recipe with cheaper ingredients and is a mix of the same substance found in other pet foods, except it's sold as natural.

I personally love everything about this meal. I recently switched my 3 cats to it and for some reason they don't like it. I feed them wet food for breakfast and they can feed them dry food all day for free. A cat eats them all. The other (who is a great foodie and eats everything, including trying to get as much human food as possible) will nibble at it but never eat it all, and the third flatly refuses. I wish I could get her to eat it. Unfortunately for me it was $30 down the drain :(
