I had problems from the start. I hope it's just a bad block. I have ordered a replacement and will update my status. But my drum won't connect or respond! The home button works but is otherwise unresponsive. I was very disappointed because I was looking forward to it.

Took it out of the box and it stopped working in less than 5 minutes. When I start a new song, the drum spins for about 10 seconds and then the PS4 shows the message "Controller disabled". Reboot and try again, same problem. Tried several times with the same result.

Drum Kit Works great, includes everything you need, easy setup, recommend for the price. The drum does not need to be calibrated, just plug and play. PS4 recognized the drum kit and asked to change the configuration from Type 1 (controller) to Type 4 (drum kit). If you don't want to spend more than $95 for an official drum with poor quality control issues like me, try this.

Other reviewers have mentioned that you have to hit harder than you think and that the sensitivity/hit range is shaky at times. That's right. We'll see how long the cheaper drum lasts, but we really like it! Plugged in and started playing right away. I'm glad I didn't spend over $200 on a controller I wasn't sure about. It arrived securely packaged and earlier than expected.

This product doesn't seem as reliable as the original drum but it's still a good product. The controller seems very responsive. If you can't find an original controller at a good price, I would recommend it. One thing that isn't clear from the list of items is that you need to attach a Dualshock 4 controller to this reel for it to work, as opposed to a third-party reel, which is a standalone controller.
