Works well for temperature and humidity

Purchased for my food dehydrator which can operate up to 90°C. Gives a good reading of indoor temperatures through the window.

Pros
  • color graphics for the holding area.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Not Suitable: Temperature and Humidity

bought 3 of these, on 1 the index arm was rubbing against the dial causing it to bind and then crack. The other 2 when placed side by side were within 5 degrees of each other.

Pros
  • For use in ovens where the correct holding temperature is critical to food safety and quality and in bakery proofers to ensure the correct proofing temperature is maintained.
Cons
  • No Instructions

Would I buy again - dial thermometer

The best thermometer for our commercial food warmer. It can sit in it and be easy to read. I also think it's accurate because I controlled it when the heater went from off to hot.

Pros
  • color graphics for the waiting area.
Cons
  • Don't remind me

Seems pretty accurate

I used this to check the temperature of my new dehydrator. As far as I can tell, that's pretty accurate. I hung it face down on a dried rack. I have poor eyesight but I could easily read it with a magnifying glass. Appears to be good quality.

Pros
  • Temperature range 100°F to 180°F / 40°C to 80°C.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
