Good tool for beginners.

This soldering iron looks quite high quality, heats up quite quickly and holds the heat well. The little knob for controlling the temperature is pretty flimsy, and there's no indication of where to set the dial. At this price it's still a very good deal.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Value for money soldering pin

Value for money soldering pin. In my case, a value of 400 is great for soldering large components quickly. This quickly heats up the back of the guitar potentiometer. Turn it off for fine PCB work. Changing tips without additional tools is great. Very happy with mine.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Used to make drainage holes in plastic garden pots

I was tired of shooting a nail or screwdriver to poke holes in plastic garden pots so I thought about it. What a time saver! I was able to replace tons of seedling cups with much larger containers and pots in minutes. Also works well with my 12v portable charger so I can work outside instead of melting plastic fumes at home. Works great for this purpose.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
