A complete waste of money. Garbage didn't work right out of the box.

Junk. Didn't work at all out of the box. No high-tech devices. You connect a monitor and 2 computers and it should work. There is no light, nothing. I've tried everything I can to get the thing to switch between computers. All cables worked perfectly when connected directly to the monitor and a computer. We queued this POS and nothing. Don't waste money. No wonder they don't exist anymore. Enough people realized they were garbage. save your money

Type of work - External components

Sometimes it works exactly as it should. In other cases, HDMI does not switch from one PC to another. In other cases, the mouse and keyboard do not switch. I bought another one that looks better and costs a little more but it doesn't work at all. I guess I'm stuck with this.

The lack of a dedicated power supply fried my graphics card and power supply.

I bought this to switch between desktop and work laptop. For a few months he destroyed my PSU and graphics card. That's quite a lot of energy expenditure for that. My power supply was rated for my graphics card, but at the upper limit, you know? I never thought it would be such a waste of energy that any event would turn off my Nvidia GTX's capacitors.

Works great as a KVM. Good strong connections. Although the LEDs are difficult to see.

This works great for me as a KVM. I'm upgrading from a USB only hub that uses Type A connectors and when I searched I really struggled to find anything that wasn't Type A or Mini USB. Unfortunately, the problem I've had with switches that have used one of these is that they're too easy to unplug. I could be in the middle of something and just smack the cord lightly and the whole switch loosens enough to momentarily cut power to everything that's plugged in, and then the system has to add the…

No frills KVM in KVM switches

Works very well and can easily switch between two computers with mouse, KB and monitor. Also compatible with wireless keyboard/mouse receiver.

It does the job but no more

The device switches 18 times out of 20. Sometimes you have to switch back and forth when it doesn't switch. My biggest problem is that if you have a window open on the main monitor during the switch, all open windows will be moved to the shared monitor. To get around this, you need to minimize all windows on the shared monitor and then switch computers. I wanted the windows to stay in the same place before the change.
