I love these fluorescent lights, I used them in a leather case so my girlfriend could find her stuff with the lights faster.

Once you turn on the controller, it won't turn off. Take out the batteries! You can't even tell you're switching between modes. it just stays bright. no change, not even in the tone. 😡😖 Waste of money. Do not buy this product!

This was the only small sound activated EL light I could find so I bought based on that. The sound setting worked well with the voice. It was so sensitive to musical perception that it flickered so much you could hardly tell it was in sound-activated mode. We've found the blink mode to work pretty much how we wanted it to. All cables worked, sensor pods worked too, although the dial on the orange one seems to get stuck if you push it all the way down so it takes some force to dial it back in, the other sensor seems to be having sensitivity issues, it needs to be whole pressed to catch something, others will even blink during normal conversation, which is great, but this one has to be directly across from the music speaker to blink. Seems like a hell of a deal considering how many colors and sound controllers you get, but the cheap quality of these products shows after a few weeks of use. I had to bend and tape the wires quite a bit at their connection point to make them work and just tonight one of the controllers got some kind of feedback without even turning on. The Duracell battery exploded and the lithium juice spilled all over the prop it was on. Suitable for limited or single use but they have the same expiration…

I only bought these for audio controllers. When they arrived, only two of the five controllers were working. The two knobs that control sound sensitivity are loud, meaning trying to adjust them will cause the light to flicker. They don't work reliably with sound.
