Works very well so far. The price was good. The life of the 7x24 starter heat shield only time will tell. Happy with the product so far. Used on Mini GM Starters with Headers and BBC in 2nd Gen Camaro.

The heat shield took about 5 minutes to install, including trimming about 6 inches for a snug fit. It's an aluminized fabric with a velcro closure that allows it to be attached to almost anyone wear starters. Reflective on the outside and non-conductive on the inside.

I received and installed the starter protection. It was a bit difficult to put the packaging back on, but I managed it. My car has a set of exhaust manifolds and one of the pipes almost touches the starter motor. I wrapped this tube in insulation foil, and now my starter is covered with a new protective foil. I think the starter is well protected now, that's exactly what I wanted.
