I bought this for my large ice bucket that we keep in the freezer. It works great and seems really well made. In my photo with the dollar bill it doesn't look as shiny because it just came out of the freezer and has frost on it. Ice won't stick to this scoop making it the perfect ice scoop. I highly recommend this ice cream spoon.

I sell herbs in bulk and have had trouble finding a general purpose spoon that fits in the smaller 1lb bags but is large enough to scoop looser herbs. This met all the requirements on both counts. This has been by far my best purchase for my company and it really speeds up the packing! The shovel is durable, easy to clean and has an attractive appearance. Perfect size!

Dear Anna from TeamFar, Of course the ice cream sticks together in my freezer and has to be shared. I used the Command Strip with a hook on the side of my fridge to hang the shovel. It's strong enough to break ice cubes and then scoop what you need. This serves a dual purpose as I don't like it when someone with dirty hands pierces them with a knife and then grabs a handful. While this is a very well made spoon, I noticed that shortly after using it to scoop some ice from my plastic basket, small pieces ended up in my drink plastic. At first I thought it might be the ice maker since it's a brand new fridge, but after pouring out the ice and inspecting the bin, I noticed scratches all over the plastic. Needless to say the scoop is a bit sharp and if you use it in a plastic container be careful! Now I have to try something else.

If I could label this product as hazardous, I would. Product description is wrong. This product is NOT made of stainless steel. It is low quality stamped carbon steel with chrome plating. The build quality is low. The rim of the thin metal is untreated and bulges out the ice buckets as seen in various reviews. I ran my thumb along the edge and got a piece of metal stuck in my thumb.
