T-Force Xcalibur 4000MHz - Amazing

I love the cost of RAM! Seriously, it was as simple as installing it, going into the BIOS and enabling XMP and BAM. Works as intended at rated speed and within specified latency. I'm really glad I went with 2 packs totaling 32GB. I haven't had to update for a while and the gaming performance is fantastic, especially in VR chat etc.

Pros
  • Good for many
Cons
  • Secret

worst ram i have ever had

This is the most unstable ram i have ever had, over 1200 builds. It's unstable even at 2400MHz and won't work at any speed above 2400, basically I would default to around 2100. How they can release this stuff before they see how it actually works is beyond me. I've had great tforce and medium stuff, it's nice but doesn't work on any real system. Either I got a really bad set or you guys on the team need to work on compatibility issues.

Pros
  • best
Cons
  • in a long time

Qualitatively disappointed. Look elsewhere for a good Samsung B-Die

The kit won't run at rated speed on my Asus Crosshair Hero VI with Ryzen 2700x so I figured I had a bad IMC and tried to bump the speed to 3200MHz Even then the bundle still had bugs and I get BSODs every time I try. Nothing but a headache and I've been trying to get this kit to work for over 4 hours now. Very disappointed with the quality of this kit given the high price and the 4000MHz nominal frequency CL18. You would think a lot of these quality and dumpsters would be some of the best dying

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Almost never

TEAMGROUP T-Force Xcalibur RGB DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 4000MHz

Very nice set of RAM sticks. I paired them with an Asus Maximus XI motherboard and an Intel i5 9600k processor. At 4000MHz the RAM is usable but I got a few BSODs. I set them to 3800MHz and now they are perfectly stable even if I overclock my CPU to 5GHz. The heat spreaders are quite high and can hit the fans if a thick heatsink is placed on top. However, you can safely cut off the tops of the radiators to get more space.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • High price

Received 2x bad kits. The work kit works well with manual timing.

****UPDATE**** In order to be able to work with 4000 MHz RAM, you need a good basket on the imc of your processor. It also requires a good motherboard and a basket on the motherboard. I learned a lot about RAM by buying this kit and trying to get it working. Buy if you want nice looking B-Die kits (4000mhz kits only) and plan on doing everything by hand. I got 3800MHz 16-16-16-32 T2 at 1.4V (far better than the xmp profile). I also tweaked the subwoofer timings. I bet I could cut the time if I…

Pros
  • A dream comes true
Cons
  • Not everything fits
