Low Wear Resistance

I read the reviews before purchasing this item. Lots of complaints of the molding coming off the epoxy. One recommendation was to try a silicone spray to fix it. It did not work. These items are short lived, once you need them use them well. However, if you want something that works time and time again, go ahead.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • No Instructions

Low Quality Silicone - TIP INCLUDED ;)

The quality or blend of silicone used is very poor. It sticks to the resin even after thorough cleaning. The five you bought already, apply a VERY thin coat of petroleum jelly to the tray before use. Wipe off any visible excess. Do not use spray lubricants (like WD40). It's not necessary, but if you want to save forms, this might be your only chance.

Pros
  • Power
Cons
  • Expensive

Works well with resins and backton

Molds have no defects or "bulges" that leave indentations or marks on molded parts. The resin comes out light and clean and requires significantly less grinding and polishing than some other shapes. I baked a miniature clay fish pond built in one of the cavities and the clay came out perfectly with no residue sticking to the mold. Well made, fast delivery, exactly as described.

Pros
  • Molds
Cons
  • Slightly Torn
