Excellent bumpers! Super soft and comfortable, prevent baby from falling out of bed. I put them under the mattress topper to keep them secure. Bumpers move but stay in place at night.

Strong memory foam chemical smell but bamboo cover is natural and odorless. I just received it today and left the memory foam out to see if the smell goes away over time.

When we converted our little one into a full size bed we also bought these gates. I would recommend them, they are soft and my daughter ends up using them as a pillow when she turns over at night. They kept her in bed for the last few weeks that she was using them. The only negative I can think of is that they take up a lot of bed space so trying to put two on a double bed might not work.

Description is a little misleading. The foam is NOT "memory foam" as described and mentioned in previous reviews. This is the common high density foam found in sofas, chair cushions, armrests, etc. I would probably buy it anyway. But since the "memory foam" in the description hardly played a role in my decision, I deduct 2 stars for the fraudulent practice. However, it will do the trick. As others have mentioned, there is a chemical smell coming from the foam.
