Manufactured from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum. Bead blasted and anodized red. Watertight o-ring seals on each threaded cap. Keep your internals dry. Double-ended, modular cap design. Each D-Cache cap is compatible with all other D-Cache parts, allowing you to mix-and-match to build the perfect utility storage cache. Top cap includes a removable "fuse" feature, allowing you to exchange fuses of different colors to identify contents when using multiple caches. This model includes the AQUA Embrite glow-in-the-dark Cap. When exposed to sunlight or UV light, the included Embrite cap will glow for hours. the longer the exposure time and the higher the light intensity, the longer and brighter it will glow.

Impressive! on Survival Kits

Very high quality product, durable and fully waterproof after being immersed in water for 1 hour in field test. There is also plenty of storage space.

Excellent build quality.

Well done! Some silicone on the thread and O-ring and everything was perfect. It feels very hard. Good wall thickness. Very well made. But I would define it again

It's as beautiful as they say. Take it.

I backed this on Kickstarter. It's so well made that I happily open and close it just to enjoy the quality finish. Sturdy, spacious, attractive, useful. I have no regrets boarding early.

Less than I thought

Very good quality. Less than I expected. The name "D-Cache" led me to believe it was big enough for D-type batteries, but it's already round. It might work for C elements, but that's my fault. Still a quality item.

Unique stash, seems expensive

Modeled after a stick of dynamite, sturdy construction, waterproof, holds quite a bit of stuff; I'll make a first aid kit and a fire starting kit (the removable fuse is just a plastic stick, although it stays pretty good, color coded for easy access)

Good but too expensive.

I'm definitely a fan of this storage tube. This is the largest I could find with a solid construction. Please note that it's not as big as you might expect, but still a decent size. The only major downside is that it's overpriced. If the price was lower I would certainly buy more of these, but as it stands - $30 is too expensive for my blood. Hope that helps!
