The first one I got was broken but this one works fine. Charges straight from my portable charger. First time remote pairing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive anti-theft device.

This little device works as promised, is easy to use and quite durable. A few weeks later, however, it was stolen from me. I drive a convertible jeep parked outside. The description of this device doesn't say it only detects movement from the INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the vehicle, so I was wrong in assuming it could detect movement from the outside. After all, the device only detects movements in the car. There were people in my area fumbling with doors, bending door frames (!) and trying to get into cars. I need the Technaxx car alarm to go off when there are people OUTSIDE the car. I returned the device as it didn't do what I needed.
