It wasn't the cheapest option for a laptop stand but it worked the best for my application so I gave it a try. My general impression is that it's fairly easy to assemble and very solid. The drawer is very elegant and comfortable. On regular carpet it rolls decently even with the weight. The basic design of this table was exactly what I was looking for and the price was great, but the materials and quality control are poor. It arrived with a broken piece on one side of the box. The rupture revealed that it consisted of a thin sheet of plastic encasing a compressed paper product (not even chipboard, but soft cardboard). That's not the case. This is an MFD covered in a plastic film that doesn't fully adhere to the wood. While it was fairly easy to put together for the most part, I did have a few issues. I have extensive experience assembling furniture such as Ikea. The issues I had were mostly with the drawer slides.
