Already saved motorhome! best power strips and surge protectors

great product. Saved my motorhome from possible dangers the first time I used it. The problem was identified and an electrician was called to fix it. Worth the money to protect your investment.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • hard to say

Worth the money Good for accessories and consumables

I've only used it a couple of times but it's worth the money to protect a great investment in your motorhome. Others I know have older models and like them. It gets you going in 10 seconds compared to 2 minutes

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Damaged

Fifth wheel lock must be

We bought this for a new fifth wheel and it has already saved us. We have always installed the search card in the camper, not the external adapter. We started with this external adapter.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Great product, much needed for campers.

Purchased this surge protector for our five wheel camper to replace a reliable surge protector which had expired after ten years of use and had nothing but excellent maintenance for the old surge protector. Replaced with a new model, I hope it lasts a long time.

Pros
  • Hard Wearing Finish
Cons
  • Compatibility

Overpriced Surge Protector

This is a quality product but frankly overpriced for what it does. I have little doubt that you can get decent electrical protection for your van at a much cheaper price. The price of this item makes it a target for thieves.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great backup!

Excellent product. Easy to use and install. One cool feature I really like is that the display will show you if you have a tension problem in one of your legs. This sometimes happens at campsites when switches break. I haven't had any issues with it and it gives me peace of mind that my investment is protected.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Erratic operation and poor customer service

Bought this 34951 surge protector a few weeks ago and used it for the first time this weekend. I connected a surge protector to the 50A side of a power socket at a campground and cut the power for about 5 minutes but didn't read any code explaining why the power was cut. After a delay of about 90 seconds (or so), the power cut again for about 5 minutes and then turned off again. Again, no code, no reason for interruption. After repeating this cycle for about 30 minutes, I switched to the 30 amp

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive
