Thick phone cases don't charge well!

Now I love this product! The fact that I can have it on the windshield or on the air vent is great, in addition to the fact that there is a wireless charger! Now only 2 things I wish could be better. 1) I like to wear a thick case on my I x Phone for protection and the wireless charging is not suitable for charging my phone. 2) I would like the wire to the stand to be longer for better stealth.

Pretty nifty, but dead

It's very interesting how simply holding the phone close to the base will cause it to automatically open and then close on your phone. It's still not that easy to untie, but it's not hard to put on. It seems to charge and hold the phone normally without slipping. Would give it 5 stars if the posting was a little easier to make or understand. UPDATE: Stopped working all together after a few months. Only the power indicator is red and the button flashes blue. I can't find how to reset or do…

Proximity sensors are faulty and cannot be reset.

The proximity sensor is faulty and this thing keeps opening and closing. I have to turn it off and wait for the battery to die before I can use it again. This is an issue as I rely on holding my phone for navigation and it keeps opening and throwing my phone under the brake pedal. This is a great car mount and charger. The wireless charging options and the diverse mounting options appealed to me about this mount in the first place. We have a Ford Expedition and I was wanting to install a duct bracket but the Ford air arms are quite large so this one will fit. Turns out I never used the vent because the suction cup worked great.
