I have a child's room and wow they keep the smell. I'm not a fan of diaper pails because they just take up space and are something to clean up. Every time I open the trash can, they stink in my room. Ideal for smelly diapers. Thin purple plastic, not so thin that I've ever had trouble tearing the packaging. Light powdery scent, not overpowering. Handles work like perfect ties, sturdy box, I pick up a dozen every once in a while and put them in my diaper bag, no problem. I can't say anything negative about this product. I'm so glad I chose this product and didn't spend the extra money on a "famous brand" or a cheap dispenser to clip it to my diaper bag, I really wouldn't use it. Edited 2016:
