I think the fan mount was much better and the fasteners

There weren't any reviews for it when I bought this. First, here are my previous impressions of the cooler. This is a good choice for a low profile CPU cooler. It runs about a degree or two hotter than a large Shiruken Rev B braid. However, I believe the fan mount was much better and the mounting hardware, while not much better than other coolers, wasn't too bad, making installation easier. Now I will say that the fan that comes with the kit is not that good. It's quiet, but I find it lacks…

Pros
  • are shiny
Cons
  • obsolete

Cools great: cables and connections

I bought this for a cheap HP Ryzen 5 4600G desktop. It's funny, but HP set the cooler with a maximum TDP lower than the processor requires. This resulted in the CPU being thermally throttled and its maximum frequency lowered to keep it from overheating. After this was installed, the processor began to work at a frequency of 4.0-4.2 GHz. Installation can be difficult due to the size, which can cause collisions inside the case.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Negative impression

This cooler fits in HTPC cases and works great on AMD 125W CPUs

and the parts I have been (re)recovering with AMD 3+ FX 8350 for (7) years. I bought this cooler (Cooler Master GeminII M5 LED - 2U flat CPU cooler), new Asrock 970A/G3.1 MOBO, new RAM (Corsair) and new 4U. Server case (same dimensions as my HTPC case). And no matter what test I run, I haven't run the CPU temp yet. about 147 * F. Now maybe (?) it's due to a lot of changes, or maybe a cooler (?). I used to see bursts of 170*Fish working with Blender, GTA V, Adobe PS, but I haven't seen such…

Flexible, works well, pretty easy to install

I bought two CPU coolers of different brands/styles (this was my first choice) and this one (just as a backup). When the other model proved impossible to install I pulled this one out and found it fairly easy to install, efficient and quiet. I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Some little things

Good compact cooler for m-itx builds

My Ryzen 3800x idles at around 43 degrees. Unfortunately due to the case I'm using (Silverstone SG13) I needed a fan to pull air through the cooler into the PSU instead of blowing it out and the included fan is not reversible as the fan blades will collide with the cooler if you use it to install . turn around. I ended up having to buy an SFX power supply and then buy a more powerful fan from Noctua that mounts perfectly on top of this cooler (with different screws).

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • No mold required
