Superior Quality. A nice addition to my kit, essential for a VW diesel project. "Just a comment on the rabbit trail. I miss metal boxes, albeit from years past. I have my first set of 1/4-3/8 combo sockets from circa 1971 and a deep wall set. Both metal boxes are in excellent condition, of course with some small scratches. Even two adolescent boys survived. :-) (I was sweating though) I've been through quite a few car, truck and ranch projects.

I've been using these heads extensively for a month and so far they're doing a great job. If you are interested in household chores then this socket wrench set is a great choice to add to your weekend warrior tool kit, get it from the guy who works as an automotive technician. They come in a nice plastic case and each socket is labeled with the correct size. I didn't get a chance to claim the lifetime warranty, but apparently TEKTON lived up to their word.

I recommend them to everyone just because of the markings on the bins. They have large, easily recognizable markings, so the right choice can be made at a glance. The etched or stamped marks on the chrome bushings that I have are very small and difficult to see. The frames I bought new also rust very quickly, and rust is of course particularly affected by etched or stamped size marks. I haven't had baits long enough to comment on their durability.
