TEKTON 6094 40-Ounce 2-in-1 Funnel with Flexible Extension Review

Bought based on the number of 5 star reviews. You can get a much more durable funnel from a hardware store. You pay for shipping when you purchase this product. However, it does not leak despite being in two parts. This is good quality.

You might think that some plastic would be cheap enough to use enough to make a proper funnel. But they didn't! This funnel is wafer thin. Simply manually installing an extension onto a hopper will destroy the extension. I do not recommend.

I'm a Tekton fan in general but this funnel is bullshit. It's brittle plastic and the tube "screws" onto the bowl. There is no stiffness at all and I can't even get a grip with my middle fingers. I doubt I'll use it because I'm afraid it will break down. Don't waste money.

Specified funnel diameter 7.5", real 5.25". The label on the 6.25 inch diameter product listings lists it as a Tekton funnel, but the product label doesn't say "Tekton" it says "Valley." The product description states the dimensions as 7 x 5.8 x 5.8 inches. The diameter of the actual product is 2.25 inches smaller.

Very thin plastic, comparable to a plastic milk carton. Not as big as I thought they would be. It will probably work, but not sure about screwing the stem onto the funnel, it might leak, haven't tried it yet. But a bit disappointed with the quality. I'm sure this thing will work, but don't expect it to last too long.

Nice funnel for cars. I always keep two to five gallons of fuel on hand for my generator. I put Sta-Bil Marine fuel stabilizer in the tank which keeps the fuel fresh for about a year. When stabilized fuel is a year old, I put it in my car before buying new fuel. This funnel is quite long and goes quite deep into my car's fuel filler neck. This funnel is garbage. I bought this to fill my car with gas cans and I have spilled more gas with this funnel than with the short spouts that come with gas cans. The extension cord is very flimsy so it doesn't hold the funnel in an upright position. You must hold the funnel with your hand, leaving only one hand to hold and tilt the gas canister. I've had too many funnels that are too small, too short, low capacity, rusted, dripped while pouring etc. Glad I finally stumbled across this Tekton 6094 2n1 funnel. its LARGE diameter and fast full flow. The screw-on extension is a handy bonus, adjustable for the largest or smallest hole. flexible does not wear out. Trade for less than $5.
