Description of TEKTON 66001 4 Inch Cold Chisel

Cuts bolts, rods, and rivets, cleans off waste and slag, and shapes cast iron, steel, brass, bronze, copper, and aluminum. Forged and machined from premium, high carbon steel. Rough ground after forging, a second sharpening after heat treating produces a high-performance cutting edge. Individual heat treatment allows the right balance of a hardened edge with a softer striking end. Classic natural finish has a dry-touch, rust-preventative coating.

Great Cold Chisel for a Bargain

The TEKTON 66001 4 Inch Cold Chisel worked wonders on my project. After I put it to the test, the precision and control it gave me was amazing. It's also a great bargain for its quality. However, it could be a bit longer for larger projects. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a cold chisel.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May cause hand fatigue during prolonged use

Good quality chisel.

This chisel is better quality than the HomeCenter brand in my opinion. This is my current brand of bit. I only have a few sizes, but if necessary I will expand my set with the Tekton brand in the future.

Pros
  • Chisel for metalworking
Cons
  • Some little things

Good Chisel - Metalworking Chisel

I tried this on a stuck clamp bolt. While the screw ended up having to be drilled out, the chisel cut through the steel head with ease (although I tried to use it to create rotational force).

Pros
  • Chisel
Cons
  • Expensive
