Bought to improve the front brake on my Sondors e-bike. Bolted, combined with a 203mm rotor, the stopping power of the front brake changed noticeably.

cheap upgrade for better braking performance. I used it because I didn't want to toss a coin on the hydraulics because I'm saving for a better bike. I still wanted to improve the cable brakes. Putting a larger disc on the rope brake was worth it.

Looks like they changed the design to one that doesn't match my review but I'll still review the adapter when I get it have. My adapter is mostly boxy and clunky, but I absolutely believe this to be the most reliable adapter I have ever used and I literally trust it with my life. I have a 203mm dual piston hydraulic caliper bolstered to it and there is no absolute zero wobble or anything. I stop a dime from high speed (motorized bike. Ordered 2 of these, fits 203 front and 180 rear. Pictures are worth a thousand words but I received two different items in identical F-203 packaging. The adapter with a small hole between the ISO holes is F-203. The R-180 has two holes between the ISO holes, which I ordered for comparison. I've used it on Avid CleanSweep G2 200mm rotors (note it's 200 not 203) and it worked great. I also installed 203mm Avid G2 CleanSweep SS rotors and it worked great with them too. I put 203 front and rear on my old GT Force. Initial breaks were 160 (too small to handle the heat) and 180 was an option. But I chose the 203s because I wanted to significantly reduce breakout traction. I thought I would get used to the clutch pressure over time which turned out to be absolutely correct, now I can pull much easier and still have good stopping power, it helps me go longer with stops and reverse transitions etc. Other people are afraid of climbing through the handlebars if you…
